Melania Trump is a dream in denim! The first lady welcomed a group of middle school students to the White House on Monday for an event she hosted alongside Education Secretary Besty DeVos Easy Woodworking Projects for Beginners.
The 47-year-old donned a form-fitting denim skirt with a statement-making zipper on the front that she paired with a bright red sweater and stilettos of the same hue TodayKos .
And while Melania’s fashion certainly turned heads, so did one interaction between her and one student.
Melania asked the group of students to write their feelings on a whiteboard. Toward the end of the activity, one student accidentally knocked a drinking glass off a table. The male student instantly froze, unsure of what to do next, but Melania quickly put a comforting hand on his back Business to Mark.
“No problem,” Melania said. “Don’t worry, it’s just water, okay?”
Melania’s appearance comes after she stepped out last week for the White House Easter Egg Roll in a baby blue Burberry coat. Just a week prior, she spent some time in Florida for spring break with her son Barron. During a surprise outing, she visited a local Palm Beach hospital to meet with sick children donning a stunning Adam Lippes sundress.
