Pin Valley National Park in Himachal Pradesh
This is located in the Lahul and Spiti Valley district of this state and it is said to be the safest abodes for the snow leopards. This park is not only home for the snow leopards but one can get to see more than 20 different species of animals and birds here. According to experts, there are at least 12 snow leopards present in the park at present and they are mostly spotted during winters as they come out of their den to find something to eat and drink.
Nagarjuna Sagar Srisailam Sanctuary in Andhra Pradesh
This place is located near to Srisailam and this is one of the largest tiger reserves in India. This national park covers an area of 3568 square kilometres and this place took a great initiative in the ‘Save Tiger’ project. That is why; this national park was tagged as the Tiger reserve in the year 1973. Large numbers of tigers are found here and one can also get to see black bucks, panthers and nilgais here. People can take a jeep safari deep into the jungle and can see some waterfalls inside the jungle.
Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan
This national park stretches over an area of 1334 square kilometres and is also known as the land of royal animals in Rajasthan. Yes, you have guessed it right; this park is famous for its tiger spotting and definitely this is a paradise for the wild life photographers. But tigers are not the only attractions here. Apart from the big cats one can also get to spot here animals like Sambar, Wild Boars and Sloth Bears. The best time to visit this place is from March to May when tiger spotting is the most.
Kaziranga National Park in Assam
This is said to be one of the most famous national parks of India. It is the home for the famous one horned rhinoceros which in other case is a rare species in the rest of the world. This land is the confluence of four rivers which makes this land a perfect fertile one for blooming flora and fauna. One can also find here the famous Asian elephants apart from the one horned rhinoceros. Other than these animals, the other species that are found here are leopard cats, swamp deer and monitor lizards. Many birds fly down here during winters and them include oriental honey buzzard, white tailed eagle and fishing eagle. One can indulge into elephant safaris or jeep safaris through the dense jungle and get a lovely ride across the jungle.
